The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of community volunteers, Club members, and the sitting Club president. The Investment Committee oversees the investment program and makes recommendations to the board of directors regarding investment policy and strategy. The investment committee is made up of community volunteers and JBF board members. 


  • LED lighting, ADA walkways, irrigation system, plantings, signage, and weekly maintenance in Peter Britt Gardens.
  • Annual support of the Jacksonville Elementary School music program.
  • Materials and volunteer labor for the construction of a 26' walking bridge spanning Cantrall Creek next to the Norling Mine in Forest Park.
  • Forest Park hiking map.
  • Purchase and maintenance of benches in downtown Jacksonville.
  • Material costs and volunteer labor associated with the renovation of the Sexton's Tool House in the Jacksonville Historic Cemetery.
  • Material costs and volunteer labor to renovate the restrooms in the Jacksonville Historic Cemetery including landscaping and two new benches.
  • Contributor to Britt Festivals' new entry stairway.
  • Contributed to the construction of the Jacksonville Woodlands' new storage building behind the Beekman House.

The Foundation has 4 donor levels ranging from the William Hoffman level at $50-$249 up to our Peter Britt Classification, those individuals contributing a minimum of $1,000.

Jacksonville Boosters Foundation

The Foundation was established in 2003 as a tax-exempt, 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. The primary mission of the Foundation is to provide financial support for the restoration, preservation, maintenance and improvement of both public and nonprofit owned facilities in Jacksonville, Oregon. We also provide gifts/grants for the advancement of the arts to both public and nonprofit organizations in Jacksonville.

During 2016, the Foundation funded over $22,000 in projects in Jacksonville, Oregon. This included grants to Jacksonville Elementary School for their annual spring musical event; Historic Jacksonville, Inc. for painting and renovation of the Beekman House; the City of Jacksonville to assist with new LED lighting from the library parking lot to Highway 238; and for a new Forest Park hiking map. The Foundation provided $4,200 for maintenance work in Peter Britt gardens during 2016. In addition, we pledged $6,625 for payment in 2017 to the Jacksonville Community Center to assist with construction costs of their new building.  

The Foundation is in the third year of of its five year plan to double the size of our endowment by the end of 2019.
